This preliminary drawing, which I have entitled "Gabby: Hydrangea Walkway Following a Summer Rain," is very complex. After many revisions and erasures, I now have the foundation for a painting that I am most eager to commence.
It has been a busy summer, but I have found some hours to invest in Acacia's portrait. I put a lot of work into the mountainous background as well as perfecting some subtle details in her face and further developing her hair.
